Ryan Drant

Ryan Drant is the Founder and Managing Partner at Questa Capital, where he leverages over 25 years of venture capital experience to oversee healthcare investments. Throughout his career, he has deployed $1.0 billion in equity capital, served on 46 corporate boards of directors, and earned four appearances on the Forbes Midas List. Previously, he spent nearly two decades at New Enterprise Associates, becoming a General Partner in 2004 and serving on the investment committee for 11 years across $8.0 billion in funds. Before joining NEA in 1996, he worked in healthcare investment banking at Alex Brown & Sons and Arthur Andersen & Co, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stanford University. His current investment strategy focuses on providing capital to companies operating within the medical device, healthcare services, healthcare technology, and specialty pharmaceutical sectors.
