Ryan Sandler

Ryan Sandler is the Founder and CEO of Truework, an identity verification platform based in San Francisco, California. Under his leadership, the company has raised over $50 million in venture funding from investors including a16z, and it currently serves more than 1,000 enterprise customers across the financial and human resources sectors. The platform recently expanded its employment verification API and surpassed 10 million processed verifications in the first quarter of 2026. Prior to establishing Truework, Sandler held product and engineering roles at Square and Dropbox, where he focused on payment systems and software development. He also studied computer science at Stanford University, building the technical foundation for his subsequent entrepreneurial ventures in the technology sector. Sandler currently focuses on addressing inefficiencies in financial services by developing secure data-sharing solutions for lenders, background checkers, and employers.
