Ryan Spencer

Ryan Spencer is a Vice President at Energy Impact Partners based in New York City, where he focuses on sourcing and executing investments in climate technology startups. Joining the global energy technology investment firm in 2021, he targets early- to growth-stage companies with typical check sizes ranging from $3 million to $10 million. Spencer currently serves as a board observer for several portfolio companies, including Scythe Robotics, Infravision, and Mill. Previously, he was a founding member of the Energy Technology investment banking team at Goldman Sachs. In that capacity, he advised corporate clients on more than $5 billion in mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and private capital raises.
