Ryan Tish

Ryan Tish is an Investor at CapitalG, the growth investment arm of Alphabet Inc., based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since joining the firm in early 2023, he has focused on enterprise software, fintech, and AI infrastructure, recently leading a $200 million investment in an AI security startup in March 2024. Previously, Tish served as a Principal at Thrive Capital from 2018 to 2022, where he backed technology companies and was involved with notable startups such as Rippling, which reached a valuation exceeding $13 billion. His earlier financial career includes an investment role at Goldman Sachs, following his graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Today, Tish maintains a primary focus on bridging operational expertise with strategic capital to scale growth-stage technology enterprises.
