Saalim Chowdhury

Saalim Chowdhury is the Managing Director of the Techstars London Accelerator, based in London, UK. Prior to assuming this position, he served as a Partner at the venture capital firm 500 Startups, where he led and enabled more than 30 distinct accelerator programs operating across 16 different countries. As a technical founder with over a decade of hands-on entrepreneurial experience, he successfully built and sold multiple software startups, which ultimately resulted in strategic exits to major technology corporations including Cisco and Toptal. Earlier in his professional career, Chowdhury held senior executive roles focused on digital transformation initiatives at the global media conglomerates News Corporation and Reach plc. He initially began his corporate trajectory as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group. Today, his primary focus remains on early-stage venture capital investments and advancing global startup education.
