Saba Karim

Saba Karim is the CEO and Co-founder of Favs and a Partner at the pre-seed fund Rising Stars, based in Los Angeles, California. Prior to launching the social network startup in May 2023 and raising approximately $1 million in pre-seed funding, he served as the Head of Startup Pipeline at Techstars. In this capacity, Karim evaluated over 50,000 companies annually and operated as a venture capitalist for the global accelerator. His 14-year career in the technology sector includes roles on the founding team of Orai, as an investor at Sandhill Markets, and as a mentor at SparkCharge. Additionally, he is the creator of the Startup Starter Pack and speaks publicly on startup growth. An alumnus of Stanford University and Deakin University, Karim currently focuses on early-stage venture capital investing and developing consumer social platforms.
