Sagar Rambhia

Sagar Rambhia is a cofounder and General Partner at Grasshopper Capital, an alternative investment firm based in Cleveland, Ohio. He established the firm in 2017 alongside cofounder Ari Lewis, initially structuring the vehicle as a cryptocurrency hedge fund before expanding its mandate into broader technology and healthcare investments. Under his executive leadership, Grasshopper Capital has executed over 50 venture deals, which includes participating as a co-investor in the $5 million Seed funding round for the artificial intelligence startup Viable in May 2022. Prior to his career in institutional investing, Rambhia founded the competitive eSports company Koalah and subsequently enrolled as a student at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Today, his primary professional focus centers on managing portfolio allocations and identifying early-stage market opportunities across blockchain infrastructure, distributed ledger technologies, and emerging digital assets.
