Sagi Paz is currently the Head of AMD Ventures, where he leads the corporate venture program investing in early-stage companies that align with the firm's strategic initiatives. Prior to this role, he served as the Head of Xilinx Ventures before the semiconductor company was acquired by AMD, and worked as a Venture Partner at Entrée Capital. His earlier career includes strategy and mergers and acquisitions at Microsoft, where he contributed to the $2.5 billion acquisition of Minecraft, as well as business operations at LinkedIn. Paz began his career in processor design at Intel and holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Technion, alongside an MBA from Harvard Business School. His professional background combines early-stage venture capital and corporate strategy, with a current focus on investments in artificial intelligence, servers, and strategic technology ecosystems.
