Salman Allana

Salman Allana is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rider, a technology-driven logistics startup based in Karachi, Pakistan. Before launching the delivery platform in 2019, he developed extensive corporate and operational expertise through leadership roles at major global institutions, including Citibank and UPS Pakistan. During his tenure in the logistics sector, Allana identified critical inefficiencies in the regional e-commerce supply chain, prompting him to build a specialized last-mile delivery network. Under his direction, Rider has successfully scaled its operations to process over three million parcels across more than 60 Pakistani cities, securing over $3 million in venture capital backing from prominent international investors like Global Founders Capital and Y Combinator. His current professional focus remains on integrating advanced routing algorithms and digital infrastructure to modernize traditional freight and parcel delivery systems throughout emerging markets.
