Sam Awrabi

Sam Awrabi is the Founder and Solo GP of Banyan Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on artificial intelligence infrastructure. Previously, he served as the first sales hire at MissingLink.ai, where he expanded the user base from low double digits to over 4,000 paying customers before its acquisition by Samsung. He also operated as the first revenue hire at Comet ML, scaling the company from its seed stage to a Series B round by securing deals with more than 150 enterprise clients, including Uber and Netflix. Through Awrabi Consulting, he has advised over 15 artificial intelligence infrastructure startups on go-to-market strategies, drawing on his academic foundation in political science from Stony Brook University. His current focus centers on leveraging his operational experience in model management to invest in and advise foundational AI technology companies.
