Sam Ding

Sam Ding is a Design Engineer at Mintlify based in the United States. In his current role, which he assumed in October 2024, he manages design, frontend development, and the WYSIWYG editor for the platform. Previously, he co-founded Brewit, an AI data analytics startup backed by Y Combinator as part of its Winter 2023 batch, leading the company from November 2022 until its acquisition in September 2024. Prior to this entrepreneurial venture, Ding worked as a Software Engineer at Apple, where he developed iOS and macOS applications focused on testing wireless technologies like 5G and Wi-Fi, and he also completed an internship at MealMe. He holds a degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Washington. His professional background centers on bridging software engineering and user experience design across artificial intelligence and enterprise platforms.
