Sam Kassoumeh

Sam Kassoumeh is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of SecurityScorecard, a cybersecurity risk management firm he established in 2014 alongside Aleksandr Yampolskiy. Before launching this venture, he gained extensive industry experience serving as the Head of Security and Compliance at Gilt Groupe and the Worldwide InfoSec Lead at Federal-Mogul. Under his leadership, SecurityScorecard has scaled to serve over 25,000 organizations using a patented A-F rating scale where companies scoring an F are seven to eight times more likely to experience a data breach. The platform has achieved FedRAMP Ready designation and is officially listed as a free cyber tool by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Kassoumeh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and currently focuses on driving product portfolio expansion and advancing third-party ecosystem risk assessment technologies.
