Samantha Zhang

Samantha Zhang is the Co-Founder of Agave, a construction technology software company, and is based in Sunnyvale, California. Alongside co-founder Tom Reno, she leads the development of an API platform that integrates data across various construction software systems. Under her leadership, Agave has grown to employ between 201 and 500 people, generating an estimated $5 million to $20 million in annual revenue, and secured financial backing from venture capital firm Accel in August 2023. Prior to establishing Agave, Zhang served as a Senior UX Designer at Amazon, where she specialized in creating data visualizations for multimodal Alexa devices. She also previously held design roles at Graphiq Inc., focusing on data-heavy digital platforms for publishers. Her career centers on combining user experience design with complex data visualization to build scalable developer tools for the construction industry.
