Sandeep Bhadra

Sandeep Bhadra is currently a Partner at Vertex Ventures US, where he focuses on early-stage investments in innovative technology and cybersecurity startups. Before transitioning into his current venture capital role, he gained direct operational and industry experience through professional positions at technology companies including LightBeam.ai, Northflank, Orkes, and RAD Security. His extensive technical foundation includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He further developed his corporate business expertise by earning an MBA from INSEAD in 2012, where he was named to the Dean's List, and completing an MBA exchange program at The Wharton School. Today, Bhadra leverages his advanced engineering training and startup operational background to identify and fund early-stage technology companies navigating complex technical markets.
