Sanjay Zimmermann

Sanjay Zimmermann is a General Partner at White Star Capital based in Toronto, Canada, where he co-leads the firm's North America Seed Fund and manages the local office. Before joining the venture capital firm as an Associate in 2017, he worked in investment banking within the technology, media, and telecommunications group at Rothschild & Co in London. Throughout his tenure at White Star Capital, Zimmermann has executed more than 25 investments across North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, contributing to the firm's growth from a $70 million initial fund to over $1 billion in assets under management. His academic credentials include a bachelor's degree in business administration from Babson College, alongside advanced studies at the London School of Economics and INSEAD. He currently focuses on early-stage venture opportunities within the global fintech, consumer, and SaaS sectors.
