Sanjeev Aggarwal is the Managing Director at The Fundamentum Partnership, a growth-stage venture capital firm based in India. Before transitioning to venture capital, he co-founded the business process outsourcing company Daksh, which was successfully acquired by IBM for $150 million in 2004. He subsequently established Helion Ventures in 2006 as an early Indian venture fund, before partnering with Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani to launch Fundamentum. Under his leadership, the firm raised a $227 million second fund in August 2022 to lead or co-lead $25 million to $40 million Series B and later-stage investment rounds. After evaluating over five hundred startups, the firm's select portfolio companies, including unicorns Pharmeasy and Spinny, have collectively secured over $1 billion in follow-on financing. Aggarwal currently focuses on scaling consumer and software startups across the broader South Asian market.
