Sanjit Biswas is the co-founder and CEO of Samsara, an enterprise Internet of Things platform focused on industrial operations and fleet management. Prior to establishing Samsara in 2015, Biswas served as the CEO and co-founder of Meraki, a prominent cloud-managed enterprise networking firm. Under his leadership, Meraki scaled rapidly over six years before being acquired by Cisco in 2012 for $1.2 billion, subsequently becoming one of the corporation's fastest-growing product lines with over 100 percent annual growth. His entrepreneurial career originated from his academic research at MIT, where he led the Roofnet project while completing his master's degree, following his foundational undergraduate studies in computer systems engineering at Stanford University. Biswas currently focuses on leveraging cloud-based analytics and hardware integration to optimize complex physical operations across the global transportation, logistics, and industrial sectors.
