Santo Politi

Santo Politi is a Co-founder and General Partner at Spark Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm he helped establish in 2005. He began his career spending a decade as an electrical engineer at Panasonic's Broadcast and Television division before transitioning into finance to launch the early-stage venture arm at Bankers Trust. Politi subsequently served as the President of Blockbuster and worked as a General Partner at Charles River Ventures prior to founding his current firm. At Spark Capital, he has backed several prominent consumer technology and internet companies, including early investments in Twitter, Oculus, Wayfair, and Tumblr. He has also served as a board member for the financial technology company Plaid since 2015. His current investment focus centers on early-stage and growth-stage consumer and internet technology startups operating across both the United States and Europe.
