Sara Adler

Sara Adler is a General Partner at Wave Capital based in San Francisco, California. She co-leads the seed fund alongside one equal partner, maintaining a highly concentrated portfolio by making a maximum of four lead investments per year. Prior to her current role, Adler built and led corporate development and mergers and acquisitions teams at major technology companies, serving as an early member at Facebook before joining Dropbox and Airbnb. During her tenure across these various operating roles, she successfully directed and executed more than 30 corporate acquisitions. Earlier in her professional career, she gained initial venture capital experience working as an investor at Menlo Ventures before transitioning into the startup ecosystem. Adler currently focuses on backing seed-stage technology startups, leveraging her extensive corporate development background to support early-stage founders as they scale.
