Sara Eshelman

Sara Eshelman is a Partner at Spero Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to her current role, she developed her expertise in economics and international investment as an investment professional at Omidyar Network, where she evaluated and executed venture deals. Earlier in her career, Eshelman worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, advising corporate clients on strategic growth and operational improvements. She built her foundational knowledge in financial markets and global economic systems while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University. At Spero Ventures, she leverages her extensive background in strategy and international markets to identify and support high-growth technology startups.
