Sarah Guo is the Founder of Conviction, an artificial intelligence-focused venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. Prior to launching the firm in 2022, she spent approximately ten years at Greylock Partners, where she served as a General Partner investing in software, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. She began her professional career with a brief tenure at Goldman Sachs before earning her undergraduate and master's degrees in finance, economics, and Chinese from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and Lauder Institute. Through Conviction, Guo has backed numerous early-stage technology startups, building an initial portfolio that includes emerging companies such as Harvey, Baseten, Onyx Security, and Cartesia. She also co-hosts the widely recognized artificial intelligence podcast No Priors. Her current investment strategy centers entirely on the deployment of AI-native software and infrastructure across global enterprise markets.
