Scott Hoekman

Scott Hoekman is the Founder of Intrigue Capital and a Senior Advisor at Next Level Ventures, based in Des Moines, Iowa. During his eleven-year tenure as a Partner at Next Level Ventures, he helped grow the firm to approximately $400 million in assets under management across 50 portfolio companies. Over his three-decade career, he has deployed nearly $150 million in capital, participated in transactions exceeding $3 billion, and held 19 board seats, including current directorships at Coviance and Constellation Digital Partners. Before transitioning to venture capital, he held financial roles at Bear Stearns and Long Point Capital, and he earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His current investment focus centers on providing growth-stage capital and strategic advisory services to high-growth technology, advanced manufacturing, and fintech startups.
