Scott Jacobson

Scott Jacobson is a Managing Director at Madrona Ventures based in Seattle, Washington, where he specializes in early-stage technology investments. Before joining the Seattle-based venture capital firm in 2007, he held senior product and business management roles at Amazon.com. During his tenure at the technology corporation, he contributed to the Kindle and Marketplace groups and managed the international rollout of the Merchants@ platform. Earlier in his career, he worked as a senior consultant at Accenture, providing strategic guidance for corporate clients across the enterprise software, retail, and energy sectors. At Madrona, his active investment portfolio includes more than a dozen early-stage companies, featuring notable startups such as CommerceIQ, Flexe, Indochino, Doorstead, and Crowd Cow. Jacobson currently focuses his board and advisory work on scaling digital commerce platforms, online marketplaces, consumer-facing technologies, and emerging property technology ventures.
