Scott Norman

Scott Norman is the Founder and Managing Partner of Velorum Capital, a venture capital investment firm based in San Francisco, California. Before establishing his own fund, he built a diverse professional background by gaining operational and investment experience through various roles at SpaceX, Mithril Capital Management, WR Systems, and the Signal Media Project. At Velorum Capital, Norman has directed the firm's participation in at least two disclosed investments, most notably including a $10 million Series A funding round for the technology startup Hypernet in November 2019. Through these financial transactions, he has co-invested alongside established venture capital entities such as 500 Global, South Park Commons, Sovereign's Capital, and DHVC. Norman's current investment strategy primarily focuses on backing early-stage entrepreneurs who are developing foundational industrial and emerging technologies designed to drive systemic market improvements.
