Scott Sobel

Scott Sobel is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Valor Capital Group, a cross-border venture capital firm based in New York. He began his career on the founding team of internet telephony pioneer Net2Phone, serving as Vice President of Business Development and Marketing while helping scale the company to over $200 million in revenue, a 1999 initial public offering, and a $1.4 billion sale to AT&T in 2000. Following the AT&T acquisition, Sobel held executive roles at major technology corporations, including Vice President of Emerging Markets at NCR Corporation, where he was based in Singapore between 2009 and 2011. Prior to his professional career, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University. Currently, his investment practice focuses on bridging the United States and Latin American technology markets through venture capital and growth equity opportunities.
