Scott Stephenson

Scott G. Stephenson is the founder of SGS Capital and an Advisory Partner at the global private equity firm Advent International. Previously, he served as Chairman, President, and CEO of Verisk Analytics from 2013 to 2021, where he led the data analytics provider to more than double its revenues and quadruple its market capitalization. Under his leadership, Verisk tripled the number of countries served and secured inclusion in the S&P 500 Index. Prior to this, Stephenson worked as a Senior Partner at The Boston Consulting Group, advising Fortune 50 executives and establishing the firm's southeastern United States practice. He currently serves on the boards of Definitive Healthcare and PSEG, alongside advisory roles for the UVA School of Data Science. His career focuses on enterprise analytics, risk management, and corporate strategy across private equity and public markets.
