Sean Cantwell

Sean Cantwell is a Managing Partner and Co-founder at Volition Capital, where he focuses on growth equity investments in software and technology services companies. Before establishing Volition Capital, he served as an investment professional at Fidelity Ventures and worked in software growth equity at Summit Partners starting in the year 2001. He began his professional career at Arthur Andersen after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, and he later received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. In his current capacity, Cantwell manages financial investments and holds active board directorships across a portfolio of thirteen distinct technology enterprises, including Creatio, Black Kite, Tracelink, and Digital Onboarding. His ongoing professional focus centers on identifying and scaling software businesses through strategic capital allocation and active corporate governance.
