Sean Glass is a Managing Partner at The Chernin Group based in New York City, where he invests in consumer technology and media startups. Before joining the firm's advisory board in 2022, he served as Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Glass Collective and was the Chief Executive Officer of Mobvious, which was acquired by Chegg. As an early-stage venture capitalist, he has built a portfolio of more than 50 companies, achieving notable liquidity events through Chegg's initial public offering and the acquisition of GroupMe by Skype. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Yale University and a Master of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, recently leading a 2024 investment in the consumer artificial intelligence sector. Glass maintains a primary focus on identifying and scaling early-stage consumer internet, digital content, and social media enterprises.
