Sebastian Mejia

Sebastian Mejia is the co-founder and President of Rappi, a leading on-demand delivery and e-commerce platform based in Bogotá, Colombia. He established the enterprise in 2015 alongside co-founders Simón Borrero and Felipe Villamarín, subsequently scaling it into a regional technology unicorn. Under his leadership, Rappi secured a $1 billion investment from SoftBank in 2019 to accelerate its operational expansion across multiple Latin American markets. Prior to this venture, Mejia founded Grability, Inc., a B2B mobile retail technology firm, and SebMe LLC, an entity focused on technology and finance transactions. He was recognized on the Bloomberg 50 Most Influential list in 2019 and currently operates as an active angel investor with a portfolio exceeding 100 companies. His current focus remains on advancing Latin American e-commerce infrastructure and supporting early-stage technology startups throughout the region.
