Sebastian Schrama

Sebastian Schrama is the co-founder and co-CEO of Tiptap, an open-source document editor and collaboration platform based in Berlin, Germany. Founded in 2022 alongside co-founders Philip Isik, Patrick Baber, and Timo Isik, the enterprise provides developer productivity tools and real-time collaboration software for modern applications. Backed by the startup accelerator Y Combinator, Tiptap has grown to a team of up to 16 employees and successfully secured $3 million in early-stage venture funding to accelerate its product roadmap. Prior to establishing this company, Schrama accumulated over a decade of professional experience operating within the freelance and entrepreneurial sectors, where he developed a specialized skill set in corporate finance and business operations. His current focus centers entirely on scaling Tiptap's internal operations, maintaining financial health, and expanding its suite of open-source software development tools for global engineering teams.
