Sebastian Trousil

Sebastian Trousil is a Principal at RTW Investments based in New York City, where he focuses on early-stage biotechnology and health tech ventures. Promoted to his current role in 2023, he recently participated in the firm's $500 million fundraise for life sciences investments and helps manage a portfolio exceeding $5 billion in assets under management across more than 100 companies. Prior to joining RTW Investments as an Associate, Trousil gained healthcare advisory and investment banking experience through roles at OrbiMed Advisors and Leerink Partners. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. After speaking on biotech trends at the 2026 J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, his current focus remains on identifying high-impact therapeutic companies across the life sciences sector.
