Segun Adeyemi

Segun Adeyemi is the CEO and Co-founder of Anchor, a Banking-as-a-Service and embedded finance platform based in Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to launching this current venture, he co-founded the digital payment company Amplifypay, which was acquired in 2019, and subsequently directed the Nigerian market expansion for the multinational financial technology firm JUMO. Under his executive leadership, Anchor participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2022 batch and has rapidly scaled its operations to support over 200 corporate clients with a dedicated team of 23 employees. In September 2023, the enterprise secured a $2.4 million seed funding round led by Goat Capital, and it was later selected to participate in the global 2024 Visa Accelerator Program. Adeyemi currently focuses on developing comprehensive embedded finance solutions and building scalable payment infrastructure across the broader African financial technology ecosystem.
