Sergio Charles

Sergio Charles is an artificial intelligence researcher and startup founder primarily focused on accelerating scientific discovery through machine learning. He earned a Master of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Stanford University. During his academic tenure, Charles conducted research on climate change modeling within Andrew Ng's machine learning group and explored autonomous reinforcement learning under the direction of Chelsea Finn. Professionally, he previously served as an Artificial Intelligence Resident at Google X and worked as an applied deep learning research intern at Nvidia Corporation. His technical expertise combines theoretical foundations in mathematics and statistics with applied deep learning across natural language processing and reinforcement learning.
