Shane Neman

Shane Neman is the Managing Partner at Neman Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Before launching his $50 million inaugural fund in the first quarter of 2024, he served as a Partner at Benchmark from 2018 to 2022 and held earlier investment roles at Founders Fund. The Stanford University computer science graduate currently oversees more than $100 million in total assets under management across a portfolio of over 20 technology startups, which includes past exits such as Cockroach Labs. In March 2025, he expanded his portfolio by leading a $15 million seed funding round for an emerging artificial intelligence coding platform. Operating as a hands-on investor within the venture ecosystem, his current focus remains on identifying seed and Series A opportunities across enterprise software, developer tools, and the consumer internet sector.
