Sharran Deora

Sharran Deora is a Principal at Digital Finance Group, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. In this role, he evaluates and directs strategic investments for an organization that currently manages a portfolio of more than $1 billion in cryptocurrency and blockchain assets. Prior to transitioning into the venture capital sector as a member of GoingVC's third cohort, Deora operated as a serial DevOps entrepreneur and served as the Head of Product Management at Atlassian. He established his foundational technical and commercial expertise by earning dual bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Alongside his primary institutional investment responsibilities, he acts as a part-time startup advisor across the media, healthcare, and software sectors. His current focus centers on leveraging his extensive product leadership background to identify and fund emerging decentralized technologies.
