Shaw Terwilliger

Shaw Terwilliger is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Arpio, a cloud disaster recovery software company based in Durham, North Carolina. Since co-founding the eight-employee technology startup in 2018, he has helped the firm secure $8.2 million in funding to develop automated infrastructure solutions. Before launching Arpio, Terwilliger served as a Principal Engineer at Pattern Health from 2016 to 2018 and worked as a Software Architect at Bandwidth between 2012 and 2016. His earlier career includes a three-year tenure as a Lead Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, a Principal Engineer role at Teamprise, and initial positions at SourceGear. Having started coding at the age of fifteen, Terwilliger has worked across seven companies with an average tenure of four years. The veteran Unix expert currently focuses on architecting scalable cloud disaster recovery software products.
