Shawn Cherian

Shawn Cherian is a Partner in the Flagship Fund at Energy Impact Partners based in New York, where he leads the firm's investment strategy in enterprise software and cybersecurity. He brings over 20 years of experience in technology investments and corporate development, having previously served as an investor focused on private enterprise software at Third Point LLC. Earlier in his career, Cherian led acquisitions and investments within Cisco’s Corporate Development Group and worked as an investment banker in the Global Technology Group at Merrill Lynch. As an entrepreneur, he built and led the sensor technology company ICx Technologies to a public listing on the Nasdaq in 2007. Cherian holds a Master of Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, and his current focus centers on advancing the net-zero carbon economy through climate innovation.
