Sherman Leung is an Emergency Physician at Stanford and a Venture Fellow at Andreessen Horowitz's a16z bio+health fund, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to his current clinical and investment roles, he utilized his technical background as a former programmer to help launch AlleyCorp Healthcare as a physician-led venture capital firm and startup studio. He previously worked as an early product manager at PatientPing, earning recognition on MedTech Boston’s “40 under 40 Healthcare Innovators” list for his contributions. While completing his medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Leung founded MD+, a 501c3 non-profit organization that currently supports over 4,000 aspiring physician-innovators. His current focus centers on early-stage healthcare investments at the intersection of artificial intelligence, care delivery model innovation, and Medicaid infrastructure improvement for underserved patient populations.
