Sherwin Prior

Sherwin Prior is the Founder and Managing Partner at Blue Victor Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in the Greater Detroit Area. Previously, he served as Managing Director at GM Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of General Motors, where he led strategic investments in automotive and mobility startups. During his extensive tenure at General Motors, Prior managed a diverse portfolio of early-stage companies and directed hundreds of millions of dollars in capital toward advanced technology commercialization. Before entering the venture capital industry, he gained institutional financial expertise working as an Associate at JPMorgan Chase. He earned his MBA from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a BBA from Eastern Michigan University. Prior's current focus remains on identifying and scaling emerging technologies within the transportation, mobility, and industrial sectors.
