Shivum Pandove

Shivum Pandove is the CEO and co-founder of Janus, an artificial intelligence infrastructure startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in early 2025 alongside co-founder Jet Wu, the two-person company is part of the Y Combinator Spring 2025 startup accelerator batch and develops simulation infrastructure to evaluate and improve autonomous agents. Prior to launching Janus, Pandove studied machine learning and computer science at Carnegie Mellon University before dropping out to pursue entrepreneurship full-time, forgoing incoming technical roles at Anduril and IBM. His earlier professional experience includes conducting deep learning research in computational biology laboratories and scaling more than three early-stage startups from inception to launch as a software engineer and product manager. As a founder, Pandove currently focuses on advancing AI agent evaluation systems while maintaining broader interests in technological progress, human biology, and market dynamics.
