Shravan Kumaran

Shravan Kumaran is the CTO and Founder of supercontrast, an artificial intelligence software company focused on creative tools based in San Francisco, USA. Established in 2024 with a two-person team, the startup develops an AI copilot for creating digital designs and recently participated in the Y Combinator Fall 2024 batch. Prior to launching his current venture, Kumaran developed Gencraft during his tenure at Hive, engineering an AI art generation platform that rapidly scaled from zero to over $1 million in annual recurring revenue within its first six months. His earlier technical experience includes working on machine learning infrastructure and AI-driven asset generation for video games at Google Stadia. Kumaran's professional background centers on the intersection of machine learning and digital art, with a current focus on building scalable AI solutions that automate the creative design process.
