Shumeng (Simona) Xu

Shumeng (Simona) Xu is an Associate at Prosperity7 Ventures based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Joining the firm in 2023, she evaluates seed to Series A investments for an entity managing over $10 billion in assets under management with backing from Aramco. Xu has contributed to capital deployment across more than five portfolio companies, recently participating in a $50 million Series A funding round for an artificial intelligence startup in early 2025. Prior to this role, she gained institutional investment experience at the SoftBank Vision Fund and completed her academic studies at Stanford University.
