Shuo Mao is a Vice President at Qiming Venture Partners, where he focuses on early-stage investments within the healthcare sector. Since joining the venture capital firm in 2015, he has operated as a senior investment professional evaluating healthcare strategy and technology opportunities. Prior to his transition into the venture capital industry, Mao worked as a management consultant at IQVIA. In this capacity, he advised corporate healthcare clients on product portfolio development, marketing initiatives, and market access strategies. His academic credentials include a Master of Science in Technical Entrepreneurship and Management and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
