Sid Shenai

Sid Shenai is a Venture Partner at Madrona Venture Group, currently based in Seattle, Washington. Since joining the venture capital firm in early 2019, he has advised various early-stage technology startups within the Madrona portfolio on core business strategy, executive hiring, corporate partnerships, and critical financial decisions. Prior to assuming his current investment role, Shenai served as a Visiting Scholar at the Broad Institute, an independent biomedical and genomic research center. Leveraging his research experience there, he co-founded and operated as the Chief Executive Officer of Proof Diagnostics, a biotechnology spin-out company focused on developing smart diagnostic technologies for clinical healthcare applications. Shenai's professional background bridges operational leadership in the life sciences sector with strategic advisory experience in the venture capital industry, maintaining a primary focus on early-stage biotechnology, healthcare technology, and diagnostic investments.
