Sila Kiliccote

Sila Kiliccote is a Partner at Breakthrough Energy Ventures, where she focuses on investments in clean energy and decarbonization technologies. Before transitioning to venture capital in 2021, she was the Founder and CEO of eIQ Mobility, an electric vehicle integration startup that was acquired by NextEra Energy Resources in 2020. Her academic and research tenure includes serving as Managing Director of Grid Innovations at Stanford University and spending over a decade at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory developing the OpenADR standard. Kiliccote currently holds board director positions at Terabase Energy, SparkMeter, and C16 Biosciences, and serves as a board observer for Antora Energy following its $50 million Series A funding round. With more than fifteen years of experience spanning research, entrepreneurship, and investing, her primary focus remains on advancing distributed energy resources and industrial decarbonization.
