Simon Betschel

Simon Betschel is an Operating Partner at Possible Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm operating across global technology hubs from Sydney to San Francisco. Before transitioning into venture capital, he developed extensive operational and leadership experience as a serial entrepreneur, which includes his tenure as the co-founder of the professional coaching platform Peeplcoach. In his current capacity at Possible Ventures, Betschel leverages his background as a founder to support an expansive international portfolio that encompasses more than 200 investments at the pre-seed and seed stages. He is responsible for spearheading strategic internal projects and evaluating emerging startups that are developing frontier technologies to address major global challenges. Betschel's current investment focus centers entirely on the deep tech ecosystem, specifically targeting breakthrough advancements in climate infrastructure, energy, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, space technology, and synthetic biology.
