Siraj Khaliq

Siraj Khaliq is a Partner focusing on frontier technologies at the venture capital firm Atomico. He began his career as an early engineering hire at Google in 2001, where he served as a founding software engineer on the initial Google Books project. In 2006, Khaliq co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer of The Climate Corporation, an agricultural technology company utilizing machine learning that was acquired by Monsanto in 2013. At Atomico, he directs Series A and later-stage investments across various deep tech sectors, holding active board seats at portfolio companies including PsiQuantum, Graphcore, and FabricNano. His broader investment portfolio encompasses additional startups such as Upside Foods, Scandit, and CloudNC. Khaliq currently focuses his venture capital efforts on identifying and supporting early-stage ventures advancing machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and complex engineering solutions.
