Sohaib Abbasi is a technology investor and former enterprise software executive based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He previously served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Informatica from 2004 to 2015, scaling the enterprise data integration company's annual revenue from $219 million to over $1 billion. Before his tenure at Informatica, Abbasi spent two decades at Oracle Corporation, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President of the Oracle Tools Product Division. Transitioning to governance and investment roles, he has held corporate board positions at major technology firms, including Red Hat, McAfee, and New Relic. Abbasi holds Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, alongside early studies in aviation and sociology.
