Sohail Malik

Sohail Malik is a Portfolio Manager at Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures LLC, based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Since joining the corporate venture capital arm in January 2018, he has managed strategic global investments across early, later, and growth-stage startups, currently associating with at least five private companies. Before his current position, Malik served as an Executive Director at Venture Capital Bank BSC from 2015 to 2018 and spent nearly a decade as an Executive Manager at Ernst & Young in Bahrain. He began his career as a Senior Auditor at Haslers Corporate Finance LLP between 1994 and 1998, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Bangor University in 1992. His investment focus centers on advancing energy technologies, specifically targeting upstream and downstream oil and gas, petrochemicals, water, and renewable energy sectors.
