Sohil Bhatia

Sohil Bhatia is the CTO and Founder of Kalinda, an artificial intelligence legal technology startup. Founded in 2025 alongside co-founder Sayan Bhatia, the two-person company participated in the Y Combinator S25 batch to accelerate its development. Kalinda builds specialized AI software designed to automate routine casework, including initial claimant vetting and comprehensive medical record analysis, specifically for class action, mass tort, and personal injury law firms. Prior to establishing this legal tech venture, Bhatia conducted advanced artificial intelligence research at the Pacific Northwest National Lab and co-founded a dedicated STEM non-profit organization. During his tenure at the non-profit, he managed the scaling of its educational programming to reach an audience of 7,000 students worldwide. His current focus centers on deploying AI automation to streamline complex legal research and expedite case processing against corporate negligence.
